                                                                  Yule
Known as Solstice Night, or the longest night of the year, the sun's "rebirth" was celebrated with much joy. On this night, our ancestors celebrated the rebirth of the Oak King, the Sun King, the Giver of Life that warmed the frozen Earth. From this day forward, the days would become longer.                                                              Bonfires were lit in the fields, and crops and trees were "wassailed" with toasts of spiced cider.  Children were escorted from house to house with gifts of clove spiked apples and oranges which were laid in baskets of evergreen boughs and wheat stalks dusted with flour.  The apples and oranges represented the sun.  The boughs were symbolic of immortality (evergreens were sacred to the Celts because they did not "die" thereby representing the eternal aspect of the Divine).  Holly and ivy not only decorated the outside, but also the inside of homes, in hopes Nature Sprites would come and join the celebration. A sprig of Holly was kept near the door all year long as a constant invitation for good fortune to visit tthe residents.   Mistletoe was also hung as decoration.                                                                                                                                                            It represented the seed of the Divine, and at Midwinter, the Druids would travel deep into the forest to harvest it.  The ceremonial Yule log was the highlight of the Solstice festival.    In accordance to tradition, the log must either have been harvested from the householder's land, or given as a gift... it must never have been bought.                  Once dragged into the house and placed in the fireplace it was decorated in seasonal greenery, doused with cider or ale, and dusted with flour before set ablaze by a piece of last years log, (held onto for just this purpose). The log would burn throughout the night, then smolder for 12 days after before being ceremonially put out. Ash is the traditional wood of the Yule log.  It is the sacred world tree of the Teutons, known as Yggdrasil. An herb of the Sun, Ash brings light into the hearth at the Solstice.

Deities of Yule:  Sun Gods, Mother Goddesses, and Triple Goddesses. The best known would be the Dagda, and Brighid, the daughter of the Dagda. Brighid taught the smiths the arts of fire tending and the secrets of metal work. Brighid's flame, like the flame of the new light, pierces the darkness of the spirit and mind, while the Dagda's cauldron assures that Nature will always provide for all the children.

Symbolism of Yule:  Rebirth of the Sun, The longest night of the year, The Winter Solstice, Introspect, Planning for the Future.

Symbols of Yule: Yule log, evergreen boughs or wreaths, holly, mistletoe hung in doorways, gold pillar candles, baskets of clove studded fruit, a simmering pot of wassail, poinsettias, christmas cactus.

Incense of Yule: Pine, cedar, bayberry, cinnamon.

Colors of Yule: Red, green, gold, white, silver, yellow, orange

Stones of Yule: Rubies, bloodstones, garnets, emeralds, diamonds.

Herbs of Yule: Bayberry, blessed thistle, evergreen, frankincense holly, laurel, mistletoe, oak, pine, sage and  yellow cedar.

With her brown hair and blue eyes she look like beutuful faerie who was dancing and making leaves fly like thy were lifted by magic. Wind blowd and reveald her face full of happines. She came inside and opend her drawer and pull out her tarot deck. She look outside with deck in her hands and smiled. She took few candles and put them all around the room.  The room was shining with beuty. You could see shapes and peaces of paintings and photos filed with buttrflies, faeries,  dragons, and other magical creatures. You could almost see paintings moving and getting to life when she started to shuffeling  the deck.  Air become so soft and sweat. Like it was made of shugar you could smell fall in the air. It was so warm inside she set next to the fireplace and you could see fire flickering and kissing her cheaks.  She shuffled  the deck and spread cards out. Cards were shined by fireplace and candles. She lifted her hand and cards were in the air she smiled and said ˝Magic lives in both of us. Leave me never ˝.

                                                     Why I work with tarot

When somebody asks me why do you work with tarot ? I say back to them why  not ? Tarot is such a beutifull tool that gives insight and lights the dark out. I love using tarot for future telling and self dicovery. Deep shadow work and growth are things that I explore with my decks. .But it isn't all in the reading. You get the feeling of completion when you do a reading and it just feels good and natural. I love doing tarot readings for others, to see their reactions to see happy faces when they get answer to question that has ben ower their head stealing their sleep.  One of the best things about tarot is that it shares love and purenes. It will never lie to you. You can trust him hundred procent.  Learning is one of the main traits to tarot, the learning never ends so you can never know all. You shall know what cards give you to know.  Having some time at the night, flaming few candles, burning some insence and shuffling  my cards is the best posible experience I can have.  The best teraphy is shuffling  your cards and just feeling the energy that is conected to each one.  Tarot is the best teraphy that cou can ever get so if you don't  work with tarot find someone who will give you your daily dose od tarot and make your life full and make you feeling  complete.

Weekly oracle reading. This week i'm using The  Faeries Oracle by Brian Froud

For  the Monday and tuesday we have  The Maiden

The begining of the week is all about expansion and growth. This card is giving us such a beutiful message of comfort and hope. Begining of the week is all about listening to your wishes  and hopes. If you have any wishes that seemed like they couldn't  be true, that they could never come to truth. Monday  and  Tuesday  are perfect for realizing your dreams .  This two days are perfect for doing shadowork and soul search.  If you have any fears that are bothering you, that will change, you will feel  a new rush of hope and joy in your life.

Card for Wensday and Thursday is Geeeeoooo the Slooow

Many peole love being lazy but they can't becouse of their jobs and obligations. The message that this card is giving is realy great for all af you who are realy buisy and, are under stress. Geeeeoooo is  telling you to slow dawn and take some  time to regroup. Take a Time out from your buisy daily life and go into  nature or take a walk around your house. For all those who don't have the oportunity to walk, sit on your chair or lay dawn somewhere and take a deep breath in and them slowly exhale and imagine that all of your stress is leaving your body with that breath. The other thing that you can try is grounding sit on the chair, close your eyes  and imagine that roots are growing from your feet and are going into the ground when you feel your roots are at the right place in the earth imagin that all of your worries are leaving your body trough that roots and are disappearing.

Card for the Friday and Weekend is The Singer of Courage

If you look at this entire week it seems like al the cards are indicating self growth and expansion so why would the end of the week be any deffrent from the rest of the week.  This card is telling us to be more brave and coragius. When you create a perspective about the world it's werry hard to change. It's  werry hard to change something that's been a part of your world since you exist, that has allwais been on your side. This weekend is realy great for destroing old habits and thins that don't bring you any good. Be coragius and face your fears.

Weekly Tarot Reading for Sept 1-7
This week i use classical Rider Waite Tarot

For the Monday and Tuesday we have King of cups and his message is little bit harsh, you may find yourself in a bad emotional state and you'll dissconected from your emotions you'll try to neglect them and that isn't good. Your emotions exist and they won't go away by them self. They are going to stay inside you and they are going to make you feel bad and afraid. You have to recognize your fear and deal with it.
For the midle of week (Wensday and Thursday) we have Three of wands and this card gives nice energy to this week and brings us postive vibe. To me this cards represents realizing plans, like when you have plns in your head and you start realizing them i feel like this card is sayng about this kind of  energy.  To me this card is also sayng that you'll need all of your knowlidge in this project of yours. This may be dificult for you becouse this is maby your first time doing something practical.

Fot the end of the week (Friday, Saturday and Sunday) we have Wheel of Fortune and this brings good news aswell you may feel little bit nervous becouse you'll find out the outcome of one situation that has been over your head making you worry. Relax becouse i feel that this week this card is representing good fortune, good luck and positive energy. So relax and enjoy the week ahead of you
This is just basic reading if you want something more detaild contact me trough facebook and i'll be glad to help you.
